Is it just me?

or are some people really daft

On the cat forum I belong to someone was concerned about a cat that was coming to their garden and they weren't sure if it was a stray or not. So I gave the usual advice of asking around the neighbourhood and/or putting a paper collar on the cat

Now, maybe I wasn't totally clear but my instructions re the collar were:
PS: to make a paper collar, get a sheet of A4 paper and cut a 2cm strip off the long end and write your message on there; then using a short piece of sellotape put the collar on the cat. Whatever you do, DO NOT use a long piece of sticky tape as the collar has to tear if the cat catches on something

and this was the reply:
About the collar...a 2cm...is that long enough. Never tried paper collar. And tape the paper to the cat??

OK, maybe I should have said cut a 2cm wide strip off the long end, but seriously - does this person really think she'll be able to tape a 2cm piece of paper onto a cat :? :o :? :o
