Shocking!

Mick is a bit shocked - he logged into work this morning to discover that a colleague of his in the States has been shot and killed :o Mick didn't know him all that well, but spoke to him regularly during work hours...........

Apparently he was shot outside his home, by a 'friend' who then turned the gun on himself and is also dead!

He was married with a small son :( :( :( :(

Their gun laws really are insane :? :? :? :(

A nasty shock for him indeed Kaz. But laws won`t stop people having guns who want to commit a crime with one. I think that America and many of its people are just violent by nature and any way you don`t need a gun to kill someone if you really want to.

OMG! The poor families; of both the victim and the guy who did this....

The gun laws there certainly do need to change, but as Ped says - if someone wants to do something like this then gun licence or not, they'll find away.

Poor families

Oh my goodness how dreadful!

Yes if someone really wants to commit murder they will, but it's the casual way they have a gun on them at all times so can get so easily carried away, so in the heat of the moment instead of slinging a punch they pull the trigger :(

This was doing the rounds on FB a while back:
http://metro.co.uk/2015/03/21/customers ... e-5114458/

basically offering first time buyers advise on what gun to buy, but with each gun comes the history of who it shot / killed.... so incredibly effective and thought provoking

I think I'd pass out if I ever had to even touch a gun. :o

Our police have them in holsters all the time...they do make you think when you see them.
