La Concha...

....climbing that today was probably the hardest form of exercise I've ever done in my life!!
Once we walked through the wooded glade it was uphill and unbelievably rocky.
We'd walk along the path and then find ourselves climbing a mini mountain to get round to the big mountain...this happened so many times.
Lots of people doing it...I lost count of the different accents I heard.
The views were absolutely stunning - I couldn't get my head round the fact I was amongst mountains that I gaze down at when I'm coming home on the plane.
It took well over 4 hours to climb, 3+ to get back down and over 17km in distance.
It's still 30ish degrees here but was very pleasant as it isn't the fierce heat of summer.
I came home filthy, sweaty, scratched arms and legs and absolutely starving!
I've had a shower and am waiting on my Chinese takeaway to be delivered.
It's my turn to choose the next one...it will be a tad easier!!
