Serendipity's probably not quite right but a much nicer word
In amongst everything else that was happening, whilst we were at the hospital (the first operation I think), a lady was moving in just around the corner, came into our road to turn round, there being a big removal van outside her house, and reversed into the side of our car - the car that had already had someone go into the side of, and is awaiting repair.
The neighbour (J) who was looking after Minnie was in his front garden so saw it, she spoke to him, he told us, then that evening she came here.
We'd been out to look and couldn't see anything but J said there was quite a mark on her car.
We weren't at all cross and assured her that if the garage queried it (obviously they have photos of the damage) we'd let her know.
I saw her a couple of times after that, she has a black lab called Bob and told her of dog walks, etc., but she wouldn't know the latest news of Bb.
This afternoon a knock on the door and there she is with a lovely bunch of flowers for me, saying how bad she'd felt about the car but how nice we were about it, she'd been very busy with moving in but wanted to get something.
Have to say, her timing was about perfect
