Good morning all.

It's not looking very bright here now. I'm off to the doctors this morning, to have
my blood coagulation checked. I'm expecting it to be much too high, as I've been
on antibiotics for a week. I'm pleased to say that I'm feeling a much better today.
Mrs A and I have seem to have been more prone to getting colds since we lost our
dear Prince, maybe because we're not doing so much walking? Or it could be that
giving up our car is subjecting us to more contact with people on public transport.
But we're still alive and kicking.
:Hi: :Hi:

Hope you all have a good day.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here at the moment :D

We had a lovely time in Deal walking along the sea front and down the pier, finished up with lunch at a lovely restaurant on the beach. The garage were really good too, they worked quickly and we had the car back, serviced and MOT'd, before 2pm.

Shopping today, M&S and Tesco, for a weekly stock up.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning :)
Fairly bright here, not very warm, I put sleeves on to take Minnie out!
Apparently it's been the coldest August for 3 years (is that all?!), average 13.9 degrees...and Bournemouth has had the most rainfall this summer since records began, so I haven't been imagining the endless rain.

Don't know what time you're off meriad but have a fabby, fabby time won't you :)
Aggers I'm sure public transport will have something to do with it, but probably a price worth paying for your lovely coach trips etc. Maybe you could be taking some Vitamin C to help, but I don't know about that with your warfarin, you'd have to check x
Kaz so exciting for B, good luck to her :)

Thanks for the hugs, they're very much appreciated x
We're trying to get some things done while we have these few days of relative normality, before we go back to square one again!

Morning Jen, Deal looked lovely - glad you enjoyed it :)

Aggers, I think the public transport might well be to blame. May I pass on a little tip? I use PT a fair bit but carry a small plastic bottle of anti-bacterial hand gel, and regularly apply it to my hands whilst out and about. It keeps the colds at bay I'm sure, as Becks and even Mick seem to catch cold more often than I do ;)

ETA Thanks Di, I will pass on the good wishes :) I hope you manage to enjoy your calm days before it all starts up again for you both (((((x)))))

The rain and chill have been atrocious here too - so much for the long-range forecast back in April of a long hot summer!! ;)

Today is the first time I have felt cold in ages.....I am feeling quite down about the change in weather - inevitable I know but I don't like this time of year one bit....

Have been out to have a coffee and a mooch....I bought a warm red longline cardi in Asda and I hoped to buy some more plain black trousers from M&S for work but didn't see any I liked, I dislike pockets as I think they stick out and make my hips look wide, but they all seem to have side pockets in them nowadays!! :x Then went to another bigger Asda (the first one is a George so no food) for a grocery shop and then I've come home....no heating on yet but the thermostat is lower than it's been in months :(

T finishes work today in readiness for our short break to Scarborough...we go tomorrow till Sunday...forecast is much like here, cold and grey ....ah well at least we won't be working!!

Ria have a fab trip 8-)

Kaz I hope B enjoys her lesson - independence beckons :)

Hugs to all and hope the poorlies feel better soon xx Special thoughts for Di and Bb x
