You're right Osc, it's in Turkey...

it's a little village to the west of Dalaman, which is where we fly into. Dalyan itself is on a river delta and you need to either catch a dolmus (bus) to the one side of the beach or a boat down the river to the other side of it. It's just lovely

8 of us went there two years running Ria. :D

Don, me, our 3 lads, sis, bil and my nephew.

Absolutely brilliant holidays. :D :D :D

Even though we left Jacob in a loo one night in a restaurant.

And Michele and I nearly got bought by 2 Arabs in a market.

And Chris got stuck on some newly laid cement.....oh yes. I am laughing out loud at the memories!

It'll be my fifth time in Dalyan Ally  but I just love it there. I absolutely love the people, the food the everything - but a bit miffed; no one ever offered to buy me for a bunch of camels :P . Although on our first trip there many years back it was three friends Jonathan, Emma, Anne and me. And whenever we went anywhere Jonathan would get pats on his back from the men and offers of ginseng tea to keep "his" three woman happy

Wonder if the mark that Chris left in the concrete is still there - wouldn't that be funny

Oh it looks gorgeous!!! :D 8-) I've never fancied Turkey especially, although two of my friends are going there next week (different families) and they go regularly :)

I've heard of Fethiye - a lady I follow on Twitter is a very regular visitor there :D

If never been to Turkey J brought a villa there but sold it a few years later
I'm sure you we have a great time and you might be worth a few more camels now
