and a much nicer drive it was today, only took just over 3hrs, unlike the 4hrs30mins it took to get there!!
It's been a busy couple of days, starting with a lovely Sunday afternoon with eldest daughter and brood. Yesterday we spent the morning with mother who seemed very pleased to see us although sadly it was obvious she would forget our visit as soon as we left. Later in the afternoon we popped in to see my elderly aunt and uncle, both looking very frail, but it was nice to see my uncle more animated than he's been for a very long time.
The best new is E was given the all clear again for another 3mths, it's his 2nd anniversary all clear tomorrow
