Morning everyone

We've been sat outside, watching the sun, clouds, rain  (a few spots) and the shenanigans from across the road. It's warm though ;)

Sounds a lovely day Kaz, enjoy.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Enjoy your family weekend Kaz.

Spent a lovely evening with the coffee morning group (they have a monthly evening night out). Silly really but I was quite nervous, can't remember the last time I went out for an evening without E. Probably wouldn't have gone at all, but my neighbour Jill said she was going so I went along with her. It was really lovely, everyone is so friendly and the weather was so nice we were able to get some tables together and sit out on the terrace overlooking the beach.

Just washing and general house stuff for me today. We're off up to Swindon (via Oxford to visit eldest daughter) tomorrow. It's E's 3mthly check on Monday afternoon so we'll spend the morning with mother and probably pop in to see my aunt and uncle after the hospital. Keeping fingers crossed the M25 isn't as ghastly as our last trip

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all :)
Another beautiful summer's day here, isn't it wonderful? :)

Sounds like we're all pootling and just enjoying life today :)
I decided against battling the market, it really is too much like hard work this time of year, every other week's good enough!
I have been 'quite' a domestic goddess instead, washing out, dusted, tidied, hoovered, made Bb's packed lunch, planned dinner...so I think that's enough :D

We had such a lovely time yesterday :)
Finally got my big bag of compost - and have just remembered it's still in the car!
Then we went to Milford-on-sea (you've seen several pictures of Milford, it's from there the Isle of Wight looks really close), had a mooch around the village then walked down to the seafront and had tea and cake :)
Came home and watched some more of the cricket then showered and walked into town for our free pizzas, then had ice cream when we got home :)
Btw if anyone's interested, the pizza deal (1,000 nectar points for 2x pizzas at Pizza Express) does seem to include standard pasta and salad meals too ;)

Hope you get some good news about the water soon Rodo xx
Have a good day all

Good morning all.

It's a lovely morning here. We've been into town for a bit of shopping,
but will have a rest this afternoon. Maybe a potter in the garden.

Hope you are all enjoying this taste of Summer.

Afternoon all, we are on the train to Cork - isn't technology wonderful! It was a lovely day at home, but is gradually clouding over. We brought nice chicken sandwiches and my sister brought lovely home made lemon drizzle, Mary Berry recipe, so we've been enjoying our lunch!

Back home Monday, will pop in if I can. Have a good weekend everyone :)

Afternoon all. Just stopped for lunch.

Decorating again today. I was up early after very little sleep. We didn't get home until around 1am and Mille got me up at 1.30am crying to go out with an upset stomach. I decided to sleep in L's room as we can't actually hear her in our room if we are asleep and it was lucky I did as she woke me up pretty much every hour so on the last time I decided to just get up and stay up. Took her out for a walk and then got stuck in with the decorating - third and final coat of emulsion now on the walls and almost dry.

Mick is wallpapering the chimney breast this afternoon whilst I nip to the vets for some stuff for Millie (no idea what it is - a thick grey paste in a tube but it works wonders on doggy diaorrhea!!) and then going to do my food shopping instead of going tomorrow - which leaves tomorrow free for hopefully putting everything back in the lounge before the girls come home.

I'm out for a meal with friends this evening at the local Balti.
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!
