Oh it is a pain it really is. You forget about all the things you do with water. Washing lettuce - cleaning your teeth, trying to make sure when you shower and wash your hair that it doesn't go into your mouth. It's a real nuisance.

Apart from that though - it was disgraceful that the only way we found out was on Facebook and Twitter. There was nothing in the news. What about those people who are not on line? We were just asked to tell everybody, to ring everybody. It was shocking the lack of information and the lateness in our being informed about it.

We are getting into a little routine now, and just have to keep remembering to boil the kettle and put the water into something to give it time to cool down.

Our main problem was that it coincided with some other problems that we had. Firstly I had a bad fall and even after several days my leg is still black from ankle to knee and still swollen. Then somebody scraped all down the side of our almost new car and cleared off before we came out of the supermarket. We also had a family problem too and I am also battling because a phone I returned has gone astray and I have to do all the claiming stuff now. Really, just boiling all our water is almost nothing compared to all of this!!!!!!! C'est la vie!!

Oh Rodo, you are going through it, why does it all happen at once, so sorry about your fall (((x)))

The strange thing is, this was on our local news last night - as you know very far from you!
My eldest s/sister lives in the area and she didn't know anything about it!
It was in the vein of, should we be worried...the answer of course is no.
Water is monitored and tested very regularly, which is how they found the problem, and it's very rare to find anything untoward.
It must be a huge pain in the butt (not of the water variety), although I've not looked very hard I'm not sure just how much of a danger there is.
