RIP Flash Harry and Arthur Daley! xxxx

He had an interesting background, he and his mother were taken in as evacuees by the great character actor Alastair Sim during the war, and he starred in a couple of films with him. Then came St Trinians of course :D I loved Flash Harry and that tune they used to play when he came on screen. I know he was mostly famous for Minder, but I wasn't such a big fan of that (not keen on Dennis Waterman), so I'll remember him as Flash Harry :D :D

RIP George xxx

Weird indeed...I've done that before too - not about George Cole though ;)

Someone on fb said Dennis Waterman will be writing the theme tune for the funeral :)

Oh me too!
My mum and some of her family were quite psychic.
She woke up one morning grabbing my dad saying 'he's been shot!' - it was when Bobby Kennedy was shot.

There are a lot of examples, but one is that she phoned one of her sisters who lived in Vancouver, they had a conversation, which I heard.
Except, it was one of their worst ever winters and the phone lines were all down for several weeks :?
The sister later sent a newspaper cutting showing the lines all down, saying 'well it didn't stop us' :)

Spooky wooky part 2!

I go into a charity shop in Torremolinos and there, tucked away in a corner is a brand new, never been read hardback copy of George Cole's autobiography: The World Was My Lobster!
