Managed a bit longer in bed this morning
The boys went off yesterday after lunch, E and I were so pooped that after a quick tidy round we sat in the lounge and both fell asleep
We'd all chatted over breakfast about the day at the beach and Z said very solemnly that he didn't quite understand why E and I were also worn out because
'you only walked around a bit Nanny, we did all the running and playing'. Couldn't argue with that, oh what it is to be getting old
Better get our breath back, we're doing it all again in a couple of weeks time!!
Coffee morning in Broadstairs today, Jill and I have decided to go in on the bus, it only takes 10mins and saves paying out for parking. Even cheaper for me with my bus pass. It's strange really, I could have applied for one 9yrs ago and didn't as the thought of relying on buses in Swindon was truly not appealing. Down here it's different somehow, the loop runs every 7mins weekdays, 10mins Sundays and even better every route leads to the sea somewhere along the way. My car's not been used since Saturday when we did a stock up and I'm guessing in nice weather unless we're getting shopping it's not going to be used much at all.
