Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 04 Aug 2015, 06:35

Good morning. :D

Hot. 8-) 8-) 8-)

I have been lax on my running due to the heat - but will start doing the early morning ones again. Beginning today.

Back for a swim, correct yesterday's homework (oooh I'm evil  ) and chill out for the day.

My resident chef is cooking a Mexican feast for dinner tonight. :D :D :D

August is an odd month here - most of the shops close for their annual holiday due to the heat which means town is quiet.
But then there are fiestas popping up everywhere meaning an air of madness about the place!

And of course, the fabulous Malaga feria begins next week which sends everyone into a state of even more madness.

Have a great day everyone. :D :D

Morning all :D

It was 7.10 this morning, wonder if it would get any later if the boys were here a few more days...........hmmm probably not

We had a great day yesterday, the weather was glorious and the boys really enjoyed the beach. Got back here about 4ish and it was soon obvious Noah was tired as he zonked out on the settee straight after tea  I'd promised them a slightly later bedtime so we let them pick a film, Iron Man, and afterwards they rang Z to say goodnight and that was it, the younger two were asleep in no time. Zachery stayed up a bit longer, but even he was done by 9.30.......and we weren't far behind him

Z's arriving around lunch time so we'll probably play cards for a bit and I've no doubt they'll want a go on the wii. Brekkie first though, just waiting for E to have his shower.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning :)
Fairly bright but clouds too, and very breezy - warm though :)

Busy day Saundra, it's lovely when you can dry towels outside isn't it :)
Ally I guess they all need the quiet bits to recover from the madness :D
Jen the sea air works a treat for zonking out boys :)

I was quite good with the h-wordy stuff yesterday and Bb's not going out till after lunch I think, so we can go 'somewhere' and find a new fridge bulb amongst other things, maybe I'll accidentally drive via the garden centre :D
Hope you all have a good day

Good morning all - Ally, could you not find a large public pool and swim lots of lengths instead of going for a run? The feria does sound amazing - I love it when there's a vibe of festivities in a town

Jen, glad yesterday was fun - I am assuming you all had your ice cream?
Di, totally agree with the accidental garden centre drive by - looking for anything in particular or just a mooch around?
Saundra, I love line dried washing - it just smells so much cleaner and fresher doesn't it. This time of year I always hang my towels on the line after my morning shower so they can dry and freshen up again

Usual work day for me - bits and pieces to keep me occupied but it's really quiet here now with most people away on their summer hols so the days can drag a bit. But hey ho....

Have a fab day everyone xxx

Morning all. Overcast here with rain forecast for this afternoon. The weather app shows it being hot and sunny in Horsey so hopefully the girls will be having a beach day.

Work for me until around 3pm and then I need to nip into town and call at mums to collect the dog (she had a sleepover last night!!!).

More decorating this evening if Mick gets home (he went to London at about 5am this morning) - the ceiling needs another coat and that's his job. If he doesn't make it home I shall chill out and not do much. Its not worth starting the walls until the ceiling is finished.
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!

Morning everyone

The sea mist is still out there - can't see the island  - but we have bright blue sky and sunshine :D :D

We popped down to the village, as it was cool, due to the sea mist, yesterday and sat at used to be Nizette's. New tables and chairs - cleaned too :o no birds mess all over them. Price still the same and we may just go back sometime

Today is more gentle pootling - I'm trying to get himself out walking again, gentle hints for a while, then pounce

Hope you get that phone call today Kaz - would it be good to have a word with the leader from your local ww? and let her find out what the hold up is?

Hope you all have a good day and the sun shines for you xx

Good morning everybody,
Cloudy but no rain yet.
Just another day pottering.
We do go out shopping on the bus. But I have not driven since I had the operation on my eye.
Not had any problems. Have taken the lens out of my glasses over the eye which has been done. Can't see any difference when reading.

Morning all :)

Good idea to get the exercise done early Ally ;)

Jen sea air always tires me out too, but in a lovely relaxing way 8-) :D So nice that you can give your grandsons these seaside breaks now 8-) :D

Saundra and Ria, I love the smell of line-dried washing too! :) 8-)

Di the garden centre sounds good to me! :D 8-)

Hope you get your ceiling painted for you Debih! :) It's cloudy here too!

Well it is Becky's 20th birthday today! No idea how my little girl got so old, but then they do that don't they?  No special plans as she is working! She didn't get her day off booked in time, others are away on holiday, so we are celebrating tomorrow, with a nice meal out at TGI Friday's :) :) I've got washing and ironing to get done, and some general house-worky stuff. Mick is going car shopping with D this afternoon as she wants a new Toyota Yarris hybrid - she's had a Yarris for 14 years and found it very reliable, but wants Mick's input when she buys :) Harry will no doubt be playing his computer games and watching sport on telly, and kicking his football around on the field opposite :D  That's if he ever gets out of bed :P

Have a good day everyone :) xxxx

ETA Morning cruiser - will you be ok to drive again soon? xx

Morning Ton :) I already spoke to C yesterday, she is going to have a word ;)
