We had a great afternoon here yesterday, the weather was hot and sunny for our BBQ and we spent hours out there It almost felt like summer

Today looks cloudy, but I put a big washer load on (mainly H's stuff) overnight, so that will be going out regardless, Hopefully any rain will just be light showers anyway Weightwatchers this morning, not been for two weeks so I'm hoping that will be ok. I'm also hoping to hear something re the job, either an email or a phone call might be nice!

Morning all

We were woken up at 7am as agreed with the boys, still a bit early for us though

Yesterday we all went into Broadstairs for a walk along the beach followed by fish and chips and then ice cream, a very successful trip. Today after brekkie we're taking the boys into Ramsgate, bucket and spades in tow, and see how the day pans out. One thing's for sure there's bound to be a visit to Sorbetto's, it's almost impossible to visit the seaside and not have ice cream

We have a sea mist this morning, can't even see the island but it's still quite warm

Pootling day for us, houseworkery stuff that I really couldn't be bothered with over the week-end

Well, what a weekend that was - busy busy busy but such fun. Usual work day for me today; just hope I manage to stay awake as I'm shattered and the bosses are now all out so it'll be really quiet now until they get back end of August.

Jen, enjoy the day at the seaside
Kaz, I do hope you do hear something soon - although it may just be that the various people in the chain of decision making are on hols themselves so it's taking a bit longer

Morning all. Warm but overcast here.

I dropped the girls off at my sisters this morning ready for their weeks camping in Horsey (Norfolk) - they get back sometime on Sunday. The weather forecast for that area looks promising so I'm hoping they have a good week.

Work for me until around 3pm and then I'm off home to wash down walls so Mick can start painting the ceiling this evening. I'm meeting a friend at 7pm to go for a run - I really need to get my mojo back as it's not long to my 10k and I've only been out twice in a fortnight.
