Morning :)
Quite nice here, cloudy but the sun's supposed to come out later :)

I'm off to the market in about half an hour, that should get me a parking space.
Bb needs new sandals and the stall there is really a moveable branch of a big shoe shop in Bournemouth. He only wants the same as the worn-out pair so if his size isn't there the guy should be able to bring a pair next week :)
Himself's working, quite a way away so he'll be crawling with the tourist traffic to get home.
Have a good day all

Good morning both of you! Morning all :)

It looks a bit cloudy here too, but our weather can change on a sixpence so I won't despair - hoping for a nice day tomorrow as we're planning a BBQ :) 8-) That's probably the kiss of death to it then, there'll be a monsoon  ;)

Something odd actually, I woke up very early (6ish) feeling very thirsty and a bit spaced out, eventually went downstairs for a drink of water and to make a cuppa, but as I gulped the cold water a terrific pain shot across the top of my stomach and I nearly passed out  :? I felt so cold and faint that I had to go and sit down with my head between my knees for five minutes :? Mick took my bp and it was rather low (he has a home monitor that his mum gave him when he started on bp meds) but apart from feeling a bit spaced out now I am sure I'm fine. No idea what that was all about  If it happens again I'll get it checked out

I'm not going to let it spoil my weekend, it's rare we have H here all weekend without him having to leave at lunchtime on Sunday!! :D :D

Have a nice day everyone :)

ETA Morning Di :) Enjoy the market - I love markets :D

You take it easy today Kaz and yes, if it happens again, get it checked out.

Will be doing a little houseworkery stuff today and making a flan too, to have for dinner.

Good morning everyone.

It's a lovely one here. I'm off to the hospital this morning to have some new hearing aids fitted.

Kaz - I don't like the sound of your tummy problem. Even if it doesn't happen again I suggest that
you mention it to your GP next time you see him/her.

Have a nice day everyone.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Definitely mention it to your GP kaz, always best to be safe than sorry x

Good luck with your new hearing aids Aggers.

Well the spare room is now usable, not particularly pretty with 6 wardrobe boxes and not arranged as it will be eventually, but okay for the boys. Washing and a quick whiz round this morning and then a trip to the shops to stock up for the boys. We've only got them until Tuesday, but it's amazing how much food they consume

Hope you all have a good day :D

Lol yes Jen, estimate enough for a week and you might be ok :D

Kaz don't know about the stomach but did you maybe get up too quickly?
My dad used to pass out if he didn't get up slowly (a lifelong thing, not old age). Let's hope it's 'one of those things', never to happen again xx

Well I got parked ok - albeit in the last row! - got some local chipolatas and bacon for a yummy breakfast tomorrow, and a giant brownie to share later :)
Drew a blank on the sandals though, he doesn't do that make any more, and I couldn't get others without Bb trying them on (although he'd have happily taken them back).
So I'll be looking for them online now - that's the trouble isn't it, you try to buy local as much as possible, but it doesn't always work.

It's beautiful here now, I shall be enjoying it from inside and out, but am otherwise marooned by traffic so won't be going anywhere till about 5ish when we'll pop to Waitrose :)

Lovely here this morning.

I was up and out early to go food shopping and to collect L from camp. Apart from being homesick she has had a fab time although she wasn't keen on the sleeping in a tent part (shame as she's off camping again on Monday for a week. This time with my sister, her partner and S which will be slightly different to camping with 7 other girls).

She's now lying on her bed catching up with her soaps after eating an enormous bowl of pasta. Then she's going in the bath - she's not had a shower since 23rd July!!!!!

I'm washing, pottering in the polytunnel and reading papers. S is at work til 4pm and Mick has gone to the hen racing (at the pub where S works).

Chill out this evening - steak and salad for dinner for S and myself and L has requested pizza AND fish fingers! Mick is eating out.
