Good morning.

Our region is on red alert warning today - the third in 10 days. I'm glad I've lived here for years as I'd be shocked at the intensity of the heat and would probably think it was too hot to live here.
But I have and it's not.

Eduardo's coming round this morning to cut my hair.

Conor and I are going into town - he needs to get to the bank and buy a few bits as he's off to Cantabria at midnight tonight for 17 days at a summer camp.

He's treating me to lunch and a beer whilst we're out.

Hunter's chicken for us tonight and then at 10.30 I'm dropping him in Malaga to meet his co-workers.

Yes, people acclimatise, don't they? We're very adaptable, on the whole, us hoomans I hope Conor has a great trip

Wellll the sun is out here too! No acclimatising required but at least it ain't raining The kids and I are off to Cheltenham for lunch with my friend R and her daughter We've got a smashing day for it too

Yes Kaz..people do acclimatise and it's a good job.

Apart from running in the midday heat we more or less go about our daily lives as normal.

Don's been telling me he's got soaked wet every day since his arrival last Saturday.

And yes, you get used to it, but when our neighbours say how hot it is - it's hot

We're off to the cool of the supermarket soon, then back to do not a lot. Ironing, if I can get myself motivated enough

Morning you three.... love how you've got weather warnings for the heat Ally whereas here - my heating came on this morning! . It's on all year round and automatically comes on when the temperature drops below a certain point. I don't recall it ever coming on in July and this morning was the 2nd time

Usual work day for me, but finishing early to head down to the hospital in Guildford for a final check up on my hand and have the stitches out. Tomorrow I'm off to a friends wedding in Bexhil on Sea and staying the night down that way. It's a midday wedding so will be a long day I fear. Then back Saturday morning for a few hours and then off to Salisbury for the other wedding... Sunday I suspect will be a day doing very little

Morning all, it's Thursday so it must be childminding day - last one for two weeks as they go off on holiday on Saturday. Not much sun here but no rain, so I am going to make another attempt to get the washing dry, I had to take it in and rinse and spin it yesterday, today is supposed to be the dryest day of the week so I will try again. Taking the children out to a local coffee place this afternoon, it's Michael's favourite and we promised to take him there for a hot chocolate. Have a good day everyone
