Morning Saundra, morning everyone. :D

Scorchio. Nothing to add. 8-)

I need 2 coffees this morning - I've just found out what time I need to take Don to the airport tomorrow morning. Put it like this. It will still be dark!

A swim and I might just stay in the water all day and keep cool.

Don made a unanimous decision  because his flight is early tomorrow our Friday night beer and tapas can wait till next week.
Consolation will be found in the form of the Masterchef final and a Chinese takeaway.

Have a great day everyone. :D

Morning :)
We finally have proper rain, that will fill the butt and water the garden - at least, it looks that way at the moment :D

Oh dear Ally, I do hate those middle-of-the-night flights - I'm sure everyone does. Such a shame it's been delayed so much it's now the busiest weekend of the year in the air xx
Saundra your lawn will be winning prizes :D
It was a long day Kaz, so glad it all went well :)
Hope you get the car back Ton - any markets this weekend for more books? :)

A fresh loaf was ready soon after 8 this morning, sausages are in the oven for a nice treat brunch :D
Bb's not going out till about 1 but since it's really not very nice out there I don't think we'll bother going anywhere.
Phoned the vet and taking Minnie this afternoon.
Hope you all have a good day

His flight is at 8am Di - but he's flying Norwegian airlines for the first time and needs to be at the airport for 6 which means getting up at 4.30.

I've got the excitement of my Cathedral climb later on so wouldn't be able to get back to sleep anyway.

Morning all :D

Not actually raining here at the moment, but there's a fine drizzle in the air, not sure what the forecast is for the rest of the day.

Yesterday the rental cleaning went well and by the time we'd finished it was spotless, even cleaner than when we moved in. We're meeting the landlord at 2.30 to return the keys, I'll be more than annoyed if he quibbles about any part of the deposit.

Not doing much else today, we're really cream crackered and need to catch our breath before the journey up to Swindon tomorrow for mother's annual garden party. It's going to be a busy month, next weekend we've got the boys for a couple of days so need to sort the spare bedroom when we get back. The weekend after that we're back in Swindon for E's 3mthly check, honestly it's all go here!!

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all. Overcast but warm here.

Busy morning - tidied the girls rooms (they weren't that bad as I made them do it themselves a couple of nights ago) and stripped L's bed as S might be sleeping in it a few times whilst L is away - we are sanding down and glossing S's windows next week.

I've been to my Swiss ball class and taken the dog a quick walk.

Now going to chill out and enjoy my last couple of hours of peace. Girls finish school at 2pm and don't go back until around 9th September. Packing L's bags when she gets home and have just left a list of jobs for S to do before she goes to Norfolk next weekend. She can choose when she does them as long as they get done!

Out as usual tonight with friends.
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!

I feel his pain - our flight out was at 6 and we got picked up at 3.30am  :? It was hardly worth going to bed (I did but couldn't sleep a wink) Safe journey anyway x

Cloudy and mild here....I had a lazy-ish morning and then took Jen to town where we had a lunch together before she caught her train to Sheffield - she's gone to her annual music festival called Tramlines, it's usually my birthday weekend so must be late this year. Had a mooch round the shops and then home to a mountain of ironing (mostly holiday stuff) Got most of that done, but my back started hurting with standing so long, so I had to have a sit down ;) T is just home after a long busy day and is now up at the farm walking the dogs - I'll start us some tea shortly.

Ours started the school hols last Friday Deb - mind you they go back on Sept 1st.

Have a good evening everyone x
Gal
