Good morning Tuesday

Postby meriad » 21 Jul 2015, 06:11

Lovely blue skies this morning - what a difference to yesterday. Up early again as I forgot something in the fridge at Karl and Nadine's last night so Karl kindly dropped it off for me this morning - at 6.45am!!!! So much for having lazy lie ins :D But I did have a very good nights sleep. I overdid it just a teeny weeny bit I think these last two days so ended up taking a pain killer for my hand last night and what a difference it made. Not only the good sleep but the swelling seems to be going down nicely as well - feels loads better this morning.

Oh well, got a few small and easy things to potter about the house and garden then have a friend coming round for dinner after work and besides that just lazing in the garden for me today.

Have a lovely day all - good luck with the unpacking Jen

Good morning Ria and everyone. :D

Glad you feel loads better Ria. xx

I've already been out for my run to avoid the heat. Not like my silly husband who went out running at 3pm yesterday and came back shivery and ill looking!
Wifey here gave him a right telling off - what idiot goes running in temps of 40+? :o :?

I seem to have set up a mini library by the pool this summer so that's where I'll be again today.

Have a great day everyone. :D :D :D

Even Conor said to his dad you're mad.

We've got used to this heat after all these years so I guess Don thought he'd be ok. But July & August are months to be spent moving slower.

I can't moan too much at him as I have El Chorro on 29th August!  :o

Morning all :D

Wow Ally that sounds like Don was verging on heat stroke, no wonder you told him off! I would have done the same in your shoes

Enjoy your visitors Saundra :)

Hope you have a good day Ton :)

Ria I'm glad you are feeling better, it's hard not to overdo things when you are enjoying time off, but take care ;) ((((x))))

Well I'm off to the garden centre later, with D. I don't really need anything much but no doubt the odd cheeky plant or two will jump into my basket ;)   We'll have lunch there too, which will be nice 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Good morning everybody.
Been to the doctors to pick up repeat prescriptions. Then to the chemist for them to be dispensed. Also bought the paper. Back home before 8.45. a.m Had a coffee and spending a few minutes on here before we go shopping.
Will be missing for a few days as I am having an operation tomorrow morning to remove a cataract on my right eye. Will have the left one done later this year
See you all soon

Morning all, it's rather dull here. Had a nice time yesterday evening, went for a walk with my friend who is over from New Zealand, then we sat in a local wine bar drinking tea/coffee and having a major catch up - we have been friends for 60 years

Bringing Mr Osc to the dentist this morning. Collecting Michael at 2.30, he is coming for his first sleepover in our new home, don't know who is more excited, him or us  I have a physio appointment at 3.00 and we will go to the pub next door for our tea. Early to bed tonight as M will be up early tomorrow! Good luck tomorrow Cruiser, glad to hear you are doing so well, Ria, just don't overdo it. Have a good day everyone :)
