up bright and breezy
neighbour is coming in later to paint the skirting and dado rail
in the front room for me
then tomorrow do the ceiling and wall
staying the same colour pale grey walls
so now im going to look for new curtainsi need 2 pair tho

A rather grey, damp day here again - very fine drizzle which is making things quite muggy. I really wish we'd get some decent rain; the rain gauge I have is showing about 1mm of rain in the last few days - yippedy doo (not!) We need loads more; the water butts are all empty and need refilling. I was up early to water the various pots and the bits and bobs in the greenhouse.

Got a few things to do this morning before heading off to the Nuffield. Need to be there by 12 and then can be collected about 6ish or so.. going to be a long day; just hope they have WiFi

It's grey here, we've had enough rain now for a while, and thankfully the forecast for later today is sun, which is supposed to carry on into the rest of the week and the weekend, which will be nice

I was going to dye my roots today, but they've discontinued my usual brand (bye bye Perfect 10 ) and I have to try a new one! Bought it yesterday but need to give the skin test the full 48 hours to be sure it's safe This is always happening to me, I find something I like and which suits me and then they discontinue it

I slept from midnight last night to 9.30 this morning!

I'm not surprised - we walked so much yesterday in soaring temps but had the most fantastic day.

Leilani sent me a package yesterday which included a jar of Marmite - lashings of toast and Marmite for me then.

Lazing by the pool reading- the package also included Lynda la Plante's new book.

I am staying in tonight.

Up early well for me anyway it's my 6 weekly trip to the hairdresser this morning. I gave up trying to colour my hair at home years ago Kaz, way too much hassle......or perhaps I'm just tooooo lazy

Managed to get most of upstairs packed yesterday. Downstairs next.
