Morning Ally, morning Ton - enjoy the sunshine :)

We have cloud and some rain, but for once I'm not complaining as our lawn really needs it. Mick put some treatment or other on it yesterday and apparently rain is A Good Thing for that

Weightwatchers this morning :) Then home later to get a few bits done. B is working 4-8pm as per usual on a Monday :) That's about all that's happening here ;)

Oh I did have a lovely hour yesterday evening on Skype, with my cousin Deli (Zoe's sister) from Germany - she's in the country with her little daughter, they've been doing the sights of London and all things Harry Potter :D I invited them here but they haven't had time, they are staying with my cousin R is St Albans, so we Skyped :D It was lovely to see and talk to her face to face, rather than email :)

Have a nice day everyone, safe journey home for the travellers :) xxxxx

Morning all. Grey and drizzly here today.

I'm having the day off today - no real reason other than that I fancied it and I need to use up some of the time off in lieu that I have accrued. I shall be spending the day reading adoption papers ready for Thursday, weighing and bagging the enormous quantities of red currants, black currants and gooseberries that I picked from the allotment yesterday to go in the freezer. I'm going to start off some red currant jelly and some gooseberry jelly though ready for finishing tomorrow and see what ingredients I have for gooseberry chutney.

Run later and then a lazy evening after a hectic weekend.

Morning all

A bit of a damp and grey day here, but same as Kaz - not complaining; the garden is in dire need of some rain.

Usual work day for me and then home to try and fix the pond pump - I need to replace one of the plastic pipes as it seems to have gone brittle and snapped. Just hope it's a bit drier by then as I don't quite fancy working out in the rain, but I have to get it fixed.

Skype is a wonderful invention isn't it Kaz - so nice to be able to speak to loved ones and 'see' them regardless of how far they may be. Good luck with the WW
Enjoy your day off Debih; yum to all that fruit
Ton and Ally - enjoy your lovely warm days

Have a good one everyone!

Morning :)
Still raining here! It's barely stopped for more than 5 minutes since Saturday evening, but most of the time it's just fine drizzle.
The garden seems happy now, and I think the butt's full so please can it stop :D

Usual Monday sort of jobs for me, Bb's out till about 8 so I have the place to myself :)
Good luck with WW, fridges, pond pipes, et al...mmm Debih I love blackcurrants :)
Hope you all have a good day

Yes, we definitely have
Last week that's how ours was, enough rain to be irritating, not enough to be irrigating :D

Morning all :D

Wet and miserable here :(

I've been catching up on local things via Streetlife and found out there's a closed FB group which organises a weekly coffee mornings, quiz nights etc. Anyway I thought it might be a good idea to join and have received a lovely welcome. Turns out another newbie has just moved in to the bungalow two doors from us (it's a small world) and we've arranged to go to our first coffee morning together in a couple of weeks time.

We need to pop out for more salad stuff to go with the cold chicken we're having for dinner. Then it's operation packing, or more accurately seeing what's rubbish and what needs keeping  Spent yesterday afternoon checking all the packed boxes so we know where everything is, shouldn't take too many days to sort the rest..........famous last words   We've got exactly 7 days so really must get a wiggle on.

Hope you all have a good day :D
