Following my bike accident I had to register it as scrapped.

Today I got two brown envelopes.

The first was an acknowledgement that the bike was scrapped. The second was a cheque for 83p for the road tax I didn't use. :shock:

It probably cost a lot more to process my refund than it is worth, that's what computers do for us. :roll:

a whole pint for 83p - sigh.... we can only dream. Here's it's more like £3.50 for the cheapest and anything up to £5.00
