Morning Ally, morning everyone

Going to be rather warm here too, so I'm, off to the village very soon ;)

A few bits and bobs to get down in the village and back for brekkie. Then help Grumpy clean the shutters after last weeks dirty rain

Have a good day everyone and hope Lissie and Mr L are now well on the road to recovery xx

Morning both of you :D Sunshine here too, way hay!!!! :D :D That's a lovely long summer hols Ally, but essential in the Spanish summer heat I'd imagine ;)

Mick (the angel) cleaned the carpets and gave both bathrooms a really extra thorough steaming yesterday - he can hold the steamer aloft for longer than me so it looks really goooood 8-) :D :D I think I'll treat him to lunch out for that, he's taken off three days and the weekend is 'free' too so I reckon he deserves a break ;) :D

Have a good day everyone :) I hope Lissie and MrL are feeling less sore ((((((x)))))

Morning :)
Lovely here too, good innit? :D

Bb's work m/c that wasn't working properly the other day is still not fixed - one of the jobs has been programmed wrongly. It shouldn't take so long but it is doing, so he can't complete those jobs.
Which means he only has one appointment today, so we're taking advantage :D
Hythe is kind of on the way, so he's dropping me off there, then coming back to meet me :) It's a small place, but very pretty so perfect for wandering for an hour or so :)
Got some washing in but other than that the h-word is taking the back seat - again ;) :P

Yaaay for the holidays Ally :D
Glad you've finally got your proper weather Ton :)
Enjoy your lunch out Kaz :)
x

Morning all - lovely and sunny here; again the kind of day I'd rather be home in the garden than in the office. But not much longer and it'll be the weekend, always a good thing

Happy holidays Ally - enjoy the last day and then wowzer what a break!
Ton, hope you and Grumpy have a lovely day. Can't you just put some fairy liquid at the top of the shutters and then hose them down with the hosepipe?
Kaz, Mick does deserve a nice lunch break so go on and treat him :D
Di, sadly the H-word stuff will never go away so you may as well ignore it one more day and enjoy the day out and about; winter will soon enough be back upon us and plenty of time to do lots of cleaning then

Have a lovely day all xxxx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here again 8-)

We managed to get up quite early today, and then Z phoned...............so an hour later

We've got to pick up some paperwork from the solicitor this morning, better than wasting days waiting for the postal system, hope things are getting closer to an exchange. Afterwards it's M&S and Tesco for the weekly shop.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all, cloud and sun here and a bit cooler than yesterday. Kellie is here, flying around the place and we are busy getting stuff out of her way  Collecting Michael from school at 1.30. Waiting for someone to come and fix the shower in the bathroom downstairs which has dripped from Day 1, given a very wide window of 9-1 so one of us has to stay here. Ireland's Eye, which is a little island just off Howth, has a fire on it, we can't see which part as we don't have a full view. Have a lovely day everyone :)

Hi all - been a special day today, I finally got to meet up with my niece who is visiting from Australia, she has her 40th birthday this coming Sunday and then travelling home next Tuesday....my goodness she and he 7 yo son Sam have had a whirlwind three weeks - they spent one day in London yesterday - it takes 3 hours each way on the train! 8-) And then trips here and there to see the sights and spend time with family and friends.....sadly Jen had to work today and Helen has no more time in her schedule to meet up so she won't see her....but for those on FB there are a couple of lovely pics of the three of us and also one with Kath, my SIL (Helen's mum) also.

The time flew past, and I'm sure we didn't get half of our chatting done....then I went to Asda via the library so I have 3 new novels to start :)

This pm - what was left of it - was spent shortening a maxi dress I bought for holidays (a couple of inches too long for little ol me!) as well as the sleeves of my new 3/4 length mac :) :D And ironing.

Quiet evening ahead....it's been quite breezy and cloudy here today :|

Have a smashing evening all xxx
