I just got a couple of scented candles in tumblers from Morrisons. On the top of each candle, around the wick, is a loose plastic disc with the legend:

WARNING! Please remove this label before lighting candle.

The worrying thing is that someone put some thought and consideration into the need for a warning label carrying the warning to remove said label.

The more worrying thing is that someone further up the management chain approved the warning label with the warning to remove the label so that people would be warned to do so.

Coming in a close second was Tesco's Tiramisu dessert pot. Customers buying the pudding are warned: "Do not turn upside down." This instruction, however, is printed on the bottom of the packet.
