Just home from A&E!

I was passing the doctor's on my way shopping and as my bad eye was giving me gip I called in to make an appointment.

"Take a seat" says Ms Reception, "I will get you in as quickly as I can."

A few minutes later the doctor is telling me to go to A&E asap with the notes he has printed out. So I go to A&E and am sent to the head of the queue. The eye specialist had already been called and I was seen immediately.

I have Iritis.

I have to use prednisolone drops every hour when awake for two days and then four times a day till they run out. I also have to go to the eye clinic next week for follow-up treatment.

Super work by the NHS btw.

That's really good service Frank, and I hope it is better soon (((((hugs)))))

I think the NHS really comes up trumps in a crisis, it's the routine stuff that seems to drag xxxx

It is inflammation of the iris and pupil Ton, and in my case is likely to be an infection as the eye is already damaged.

Sorry about the problem but brilliant service :)
As you know it was just as good when Bb had his eye thing, they do know when it's urgent.

Well, the eye that was done is brilliant.
The other one, that we went to the eye a&e with more recently, is still in the position of the vitreous humorous (?) has partly come away. It's always as if he can see something out of the corner of his eye.
It's good it didn't after all just suddenly rip, but quite hard to live with :?
