Do you want a 40" flat screen TV? We were asked the other night by my BIL. It's got a faulty part that needs replacing.
So we had a quick look on you tube, and found out how to replace it and it looks fairly easy. "Ok" we said.
So this afternoon we get a phone call, "the owners moving out, you've got to come now to get it, here's the address, here's the code to get in, it's in the upstairs bedroom, help yourself as they probably won't be home"
So off I toddle, 2 kids in tow, find the address, and phew they are home. I really didn't want to be seen a strange car removing a TV from a house I don't know, with no owner helping!! I had visions of my mug shot on the local police fb page
The fault is exactly as described. We should have a working TV soon. My brother said he would help, he use to repair radios and since its 3 capicators that need replacing, I think I'll leave it to him. It's costing me a roast dinner and a glass of port. he thinks he might have some spare capicators in his drawer at home that are gathering dust. honest gov, it's all legit
