Have been to fill the car with petrol. Then had breakfast- a bowel of cereal.
Out shopping this morning.

Dull here, not sure what it's meant to be doing, I keep missing the forecast

Got a fair bit of gardening done yesterday. Such a shame, the lovely honeysuckle that comes over our wall from next door, suddenly got completely infested with blackfly
It never has before, but nothing to do but spray it - but the dead things were still all over the flower buds, so no choice but to chop them all off

Cake shops seem to figure large today...hmm, I'm off to my art therapy course this morning and afterwards can stay for coffee and homemade cake there too. Now that sounds like a plan = although I'm not sure I'll fancy cake just then, when I'll be almost ready for lunch. Maybe they do takeaways

Morning all - looking good here weather wise.

We are heading south for a ride out today but back for the beach later.

The little bay nearest us had no beach at high tide and yesterday the lifeguards told us 4pm would be a good time to arrive so that's the plan.

Apologies for the lack of communication over the weekend - mom is (was) here and that always means minimal computer / internet time. Usual work day for me, then meeting up with Nadine at Waterloo after work so we can go home together. Dinner at theirs before mom heads back to Germany tomorrow. Karl has the week off as it's half term so mom is staying with them today and tomorrow.

I need to now catch up on what everyone has been up to

Well not much planned for today really, other than steaming my kitchen floor then my walk later. It looks very murky and rather like rain, so don't think I'll bother with the washing until tomorrow

Afternoon all, it was grey and spitting rain when we got up, but has cleared to a gorgeous day. Very excited, the plantation shutters finally arrived for our two big shop windows and they look great I will put a photo up later. We have been waiting for them since mid-March as they came from China I was at Pilates this morning, and I am shortly going out to the post office, library and shop (no cake though). I was in the bank this morning getting some sterling as we are heading north tomorrow to the Irish Open golf in Royal Count Down golf club - the setting is gorgeous but the weather forecast isn't So that will be an early start, it's the Pro-Am tomorrow so could be a few celebs playing, but a lot of the golfers are celebs for me anyway.
