Mornng Monday

Postby debih » 25 May 2015, 07:09

Mornng all. Dull and foggy here but set to brighten up later.

Another rubbish nights sleep - this bed really isn't very comfortable. My back, which has been fine since the last back man visit, hurts again. The mattress is so soft and lumpy!

I will be contacting the holiday cottage people when we get back. The cottage is lovely and cosy but there's little things wrong with it. It's new on with the company so I think they definitely need feedback. The bed, the lack of storage in the bedroom, the lack of space in the kitchen - there's lots of unnecessary stuff taking up precious room. Does a family of 4 really need 51 glasses? No info pack about the cottage and for some odd reason the visitor book is for somewhere completely different and hasn't been written in since 2013!!

Going to the beach later - the girls haven't really been yet so are desperate to get in the water. We went on Saturday afternoon but they couldn't go right in the water as they'd had henna tattoos.

Got to go wetsuit buying first though which is fine as tide is currently coming in.

Morning everyone, missy's party went really well and she thoroughly enjoyed herself. She loved her cake, I'll try an get a pic onto the photo board

Today has been very cold with lots of rain and lots of sunshine, it's been like it all weekend with gale winds, but that only lasts for five minutes, then the sun is out for 5 then back to the rain. Definitely 4 season in one day today.

Tonight we went to a pizza restaurant on the Missy's birthday, the kids were so well-behaved I wasn't sure they were mine!! At first we were the only ones in the redtuarant, as we went so early, so we got a seat by the fire, and lots of attention too which the kids loved. They even got a giant Jaffa!! (Orange candy coated ball of chocolate the size of a gobstopper.). She's had a brilliant birthday.

Have a good day everyone

Thanks Kaz
Ohh I'd forgotten it's a bank holiday there.
Have a very nice long weekend. We get one next weekend, queens birthday, only it's the first day of winter, so not really beach weather.

Morning all, not that nice a day, cloudy and cool. Not a bank holiday here either, ours is next weekend. We are heading out shopping in a while, I have a list of stuff to get in Boots and other bits and pieces. Back to more ironing if I have the energy, it's amazing how it backs up so quickly  was supposed to do some yesterday but Miss Osc called and I went for a walk with her instead. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning :)
Mostly cloudy here but hoping it won't rain as I've got some washing just finished.
Bb's out working but should be back by lunchtime then we can decide what to do with the rest of the day.
I got the M&S deal yesterday, one of the rotiserrie chickens, so we'll have that for dinner.

Glad the party went so well Weka, and especially the pizza place :) xx
Debih yes they definitely need feedback -and a new mattress! It's not good is it, a whole week sleeping on something soft and lumpy is going to set you right back, I had that problem with not having anywhere comfortable to sit.

Good luck Kaz :)

Morning all :D

Another bright and sunny day here 8-)

Definitely sounds like feedback is needed debih, particularly about the uncomfortable bed.

Glad the birthday party went well weka :D

We had a lovely day yesterday with all the things going on in the harbour, did rather too much walking though so we're both feeling a bit delicate this morning. Not sure what's happening today, think we'll have to make it up as we go along.

Hope you all have a good day :D
