Good mornng Wednesday

Postby debih » 20 May 2015, 05:29

Mornng all. It's a lovely mornng here.

My last day at work until June. :D It'll be a busy one though.

Going to try and fit in a run before I collect L as I've not been since last week and I'm very conscious that this 10k is creeping up on me and the furthest I can manage at the moment is 3k. Yikes!!!!

Out with S tonight. Our vets (which is also the one she is going to for her work experience next month) is holding an event where you can see what a nurse does in her daily routine and listen to a talk on how to become a veterinary nurse.
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!

Morning Debih, morning everyone

By heck, that's a chilly breeze out there this morning  bright blue sky and looks lovely, but I'll be staying inside until it warms up

Sounds interesting Debih - hope S finds it informative too :D

General stuff for me today - Grumpy's back is - at last - feeling much easier, so he might have a go at replacing some wooden posts. Then again, he might just look at them, again

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Meeting Don afterwards for a couple of beers and tapas. :D :D

Good morning everybody
It has rained in the night again. Grey skie and it has started raining as I type this.
Out dancing again this afternoon.
Went for a pre-op on Monday morning for my cataract operation. Amazing the questions you are asked. Then they take severa;photos of your eye to get different measurements so the surgeon can insert the correct size of lens.
Hope to have the operation early in July.
Debih, hope you will manage the 10K. I don,t think we do that much when we are dancing but do the jive and quickstep so we are energetic.

Morning everyone :)

It looks a bit grey here again, but the weather changes so quickly it will probably be baking later

Off for a walk later - good luck with the training Debih 8-) :) I have a GP apt this afternoon, nothing major just something niggling and routine that I thought I'd get out of the way before the half term madness starts at our surgery ;)

B is coughing her lungs up at the moment (viral, her throat/upper chest seems to be her weak spot) hope she'll be ok for her exam tomorrow - she has work this evening as well :?

Hugs for anyone needing one (((((x))))

Morning all, lovely and bright but I don't think it is that warm judging on what people are wearing outside. I was awake at 4.45am and the sky was already bright, and it was still bright when we were going to bed last night around 10.30 - love this time of year when it is fine, if it would only warm up.

Today is new car day :D :D going to collect it around 2pm, so we have to clear out the old one as we are trading it in.

I agree Cruiser, we do jive, quickstep and cha cha, and it does keep you fit, I just wish we had the same amount of dancing available to us here that you have in England, we haven't danced in a few weeks :( Do you know of Phil Hurst, not sure if he is in your area. We were at one of his dances in Blackpool in April and going back for another in August, he does a 50/50 mix ballroom and sequence and we have a great time. Enjoy your afternoon. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning :)
Bright then cloudy alternately here, the wind's strong so it changes fast :D

Bb was off at 7.30 for a meeting at Gatwick so instead of an amble round the block Minnie and I went in Mr Yeti down to the marshes and sea wall :D
She got in ok here as it was backed against a kerb, and got out fine the other end, but wasn't at all sure about getting in to come home...it is a bit high for her, think I'll be on amazon next looking for a ramp ;)
She had a lovely time, although the tide was out a fair way she found a stick for me to throw in the sea so she had a good splosh :D

Debih that sounds interesting for S :)
Oh dear Kaz hope B's a lot better by tomorrow x
Ooh exciting Osc - and you don't have to fight over who drives first ;) :D

Bits and bobs of tidying etc for me, then may go out later.
