it's windy i am not kidding--

tonight's paper reporting that an 8 yr old girl is in hospital with serious injuries after the wind today blew her inflatable about 8 metres into the air

does not require surgery but prognosis is not good-whatever that means

Vic, the weather site I use shows the Jetstream racing across the Atlantic from the Azores to Europe and from Iceland to Britain. It is blowing in low after low for the next few days.

Nothing we can do about it, but we have to be aware. I hope the young girl is OK.
