Postby Ally » 06 May 2015, 05:33

Good morning. :D

Going to be a scorcher. 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

A quick run first, back for a coffee then picking Jackie up to take to the airport.

Home to ring mum, make jambalaya and some lesson planning for next week. :D :D

Work 4 - 8.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all. Rather grey and dreary here this morning.

Work for me til 1pm then I'm going to run. I've not been for a while because of my back so I'm expecting it to be a struggle!

Morning Ally, safe trip home to Jackie :) xx

Morning Debih, hope the run isn't too hard :) xx

Wellll the sun is trying here, but it's pretty windy and I think the weather could turn around in an instant   There is washing waiting to go back out, I might risk putting it out shortly but most of it is B's (she did it yesterday but had to bring it in wet when it started raining suddenly) and she needs to pack it tonight as she's going away for the weekend straight after her exam tomorrow, so it might be safer to try to dry it indoors!  She is working a long day today, and Mick left already to get a train, he has a meeting with Blue Coat in Leicester today, so it will be just me and the hounds :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all

well finally made it to work - left my usual time of 7.15 to arrive at 8.30 but today was a series of cancellations and delays which means I arrived an hour late. gggrrrrrrrr At least I always get a seat on my train; two stations further in and it's standing room only when things like this happen

A very wet and windy night last night and about 5am this morning the heavens just openend; wowzer.

Ally, safe travels to Jackie
Debih, good luck with the run
Kaz, do you have a tumble drier? May be a day to use that - the weather really is too unpredictable to put washing on the line; you'll be in and out like a yo-yo
Saundra, enjoy the knitting. Re the clematis, is that the one you once posted a picture of? It is beautiful

Have a lovely day all whatever it is you're up to. Continued vibes for the poorlies

LOL Ria yes I do but reallllly resent using it at this time of year   The heating kicked on for an hour as it was so cold here, so I popped the undies and tees on the rads and most of it is packable now :) I think the big stuff, her jeans and tops, will be aired enough to pack by tonight, they are over the door frames   It looks like a Chinese laundry here but never mind :D

Glad you finally got to work, and that you got a seat!! xx

I hope your clematis survives the wind Saundra, my big dustbin went hurtling across the garden last night!! :o

Morning :)
It's a bit windy!!

We've had bright sunshine and huge downpours, anyone's guess what's next :)
Meriad I heard about the delays and thought of you x
Kaz I am grateful for our lovely big airing cupboard, I can fit a small airer right inside! Much nice when it can go outside but I hate having to watch for rain all the time.

Bb's not working till later again, I couldn't park at the little Tesco yesterday so we'll have to go out for some shopping.
Hope no-one gets blown away

Morning all, dull dreary damp day here, which just about matches my mood, I have a horrible cold. The builder sent me a text at 7.40am to say the weather was too bad so he wouldn't come until tomorrow - he was supposed to be working on the terrace and in the meantime we noticed another leak on the shower ceiling  , I suppose better now than when he has finished the snag list and gone. At least I got another hour in bed :D

We've been brightening up our morning by talking about maybe having a holiday in America next year :D I really want to return to Nashville, we were only there for four days before and loved it. We are avid fans of the series Nashville (do you get it in England?) and would really enjoy another visit there. Flights are so expensive though :( Still it's fun talking about it!

Going to collect my laptop in a while, it was having some work done on it, and we can do the supermarket shop on the way home. Babysitting for Miss Osc this evening for about 1 1/2 hours, then me and my cold are going to have an early night. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all :D

Very windy here :o

I really couldn't manage without my tumble dryer, it gets used pretty much all year round, saves on ironing which is my excuse and towels dried outside always feel like sandpaper. We have a new combi boiler here in the rental, probably more efficient, but I really do miss my airing cupboard.

Second physio session for me later this morning. I've been doing my exercises religiously morning and evening since last Wednesday and it's getting a bit easier. Too early to make much difference though, she thinks it will be some months before I can come off the anti inflammatories, just a case of persevering really.

Hope you all have a good day :D
