"Managed to get a few painting out, but the 1640s tapestries are gone as well as hundreds of other priceless treasures. Burnt from basement to attic. Emma, who is the house manageress has lost everything. Salvation Army have taken her in. Many things were priceless, and much older than the 1720s house, as part of the collection came from the previous Tudor house. We've also lost the Royal Surrey Regiments Museum"
