Paddypix wanted you to know that her husband is progressing well - they have lots of visits from therapists of various kinds, although these visits are getting fewer now. Paddypix is well genned up on what to do and is able to handle most of this herself now. At times her husband tends to do more than he should though and she has to keep an eye on him. She caught him outside watering the plants on one occasion! He is now able to tackle a few stairs, starting off with the stairlift and progressing onto the few extra stairs.

Unfortunately Paddypix wrenched her shoulder during his first week home and this hasn't made things any easier, but her son and grandson visited again recently and both sons helped a great deal by moving furniture and sorting things out for them. He does still have less good days, but generally speaking things are good. They get out when they can too.

She does try to post a little when she can, but is very very busy still - there is so much to do and to supervise. She wanted you to know that she appreciates all your kind thoughts and messages and hopes that one day she will have much more time to be able to post more.

Thank you Rodo, much appreciated and glad to see it's good news overall :)

So easy to injure yourself when you're looking after someone else! Poor Pp x
I noticed an ad from our local hospice, they run a regular free session for carers to advise/demonstrate on all sorts of things like how to move people, a good idea I think.
