Eyes Right

Not quite.
Saw the consultant this afternoon who did lots of tests. Had to put drops in for some of them.
Finally told that I will have to have operations to remove the cataracts. This should reduce the pressure in the eyes which is high.
He also said I should have glasses for driving as the right eye is showing the periphery vision is reducing. I can wailt until after the operation as this may change when the cataracts are removed.
Should have the first one done in July or August between cruises.

It is well worth having done, Cruiser. A quick and painless operation that can, literally, change your life.

A few of us on here have had the op and as far as I know all of us would recommend it.

My mother had both eyes done in her early 80s and it was a great success.

Had a letter this morning to say I have an appointment for a ore- operation check on Monday 18th May 2015
Have rung to confirm I can atend and said I would like the operation done in early July. This is to fit it in between cruises.

Perfect! We do many cat referrals, and the outcome is always very positive :D
