We decided on a bbq yesterday, as we knew the weather was going to be a bit not so nice for the rest of the week.

Had a beer each, as you do, got everything ready, Grumpy lit the bbq - both sat outside, in the back garden, admiring Hiho and the heavens opened

So this stupid person - me - stood there, with an umbrella - over the bbq

I got rather wet but the rain stopped, the sun came out and the food was gurt scrummy and I gently steamed, apparently, as the sun dried me off

Isn't that how BBQs are normally done...... or do they do them differently in Portugal?

We normally have a little sunshine WM but it was okay, the entremeadas and pork loin was gurt lush and I did a white bean thingy to go with it and twice cooked spuds, with pepper, onion and garlic.

That all sounds lovely Ton. But yes, I thought an umbrella was an essential tool when bbq'ing

I've now had to shut the big shutters upstairs, as the wind has really picked up - nasty weather for a few days

You need to change your time setting Vic, it was 4.33 am and neigher of us could sleep - the wind was making far too much
