Good morning Good Friday

Good morning. :D

Another cracker of a day on the cards.

Shopping this morning then back for noon as Craig & Leilani are coming over from Nottingham. :D

Don, Craig, Ed (coming up from London) Gez and his 3 sons are all going to the Birmingham City game - Jackie, Lani & myself are being ladies wot lunch. :D :D

Back to beautify ourselves then a taxi over to the Prince of Wales in Moseley where about 40 of us are meeting to have a hooley - they're all friends we've had for a zillion years and are helping us celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary (which is on Monday.) :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Really looking forward to seeing everyone. :D :D :D

Quick run first though. ;) ;)

Hope you all have a great day. x

Happy anniversary Alli

I'm at Raglan, (lovely coastal village where my parents have a batch). The best part about here (apart from being a stones throw from the water) is, no tv, no internet, no phone and barely any cell phone reception. Txt message works, but not calls. Ahh bliss. I have one bar showing, so hopefully this sends ok.

I took oliver out in the dinghy today for a puddle around the bay, and he had a go with the bait catcher to catch some sprats as he wants to go fishing for the first time. He was very proud of his 7 that he caught. I'm worried about fishstocks, when I was a kid, me, my brother and our cousin who stayed next door would have competions to see who could catch the most, and the individual talley was often 2-300. In a day. Wow. If only we had known back then.

We will take oliver fishing tomorrow. Hopefully he doesn't catch anything, as neither of us know how to gut nor fillet one!! Ironically the same cousin is next door this weekend, he suggested YouTube, only the internet isn't good enough lol. Hopefully he might step in and show the young lad tomorrow if he succeeds, or I might have to beg!! I'm more worried about catching something undersized singed I don't know my species not size limits.

Total eclipse of the moon tonight and the sky has cleared up for it. It starts in an hour and finishes at 1am. Not sure I'll stay up for it all.

Happy Easter everyone

Good morning all, it's a wet here and is forecast to stay that way for most of today.

I need to run down to town at some point as I sorted out Joe's wardrobe yesterday and there's a big bag for the charity shop. I also have to get a few ingredients for Easter Sunday's pudding. Tom's working tonight and Joe's going to the cinema with his friends.

Have a good day all!

Morning all. Wet and miserable here too.

No back pain again this morning - just a dull ache and some stiffness,

I'm taking S to and from her friends today and need to nip into B&M Bargains to buy a hair dye. L coloured her hair yesterday and now it is so long she really needed two, I actually think the burgundy with brown streaks looks nice (if you ignore the brown clump of hair on one side) but she wants to do it again.

L and I are off to lunch with a friend to deliver easter eggs to her twin girls.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast here, think it's drizzling too :( Shame really as it was absolutely beautiful yesterday and there's a vintage fair at Quex Park today, we had thought of going along, not if it's raining though. Will have to wait and see if it clears as the morning goes on.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Mirning all, dull damp morning here but it is supposed to improve as the weekend goes on. I'm heading off to a shopping centre that has M&S as I want to look at shoes, I can never get nice casual shoes for this time of year but saw some possibilities on their website. Will have a potter around as well. Himself is going to play golf. Ally, enjoy all the celebrations, 25 years of happy marriage is something to be celebrated. Have a good day everyone :)
