You couldn't make it up

Decided to put one of the new bags and backings on earlier, which I had from the Rosto Assocciation.

They don't fit       :o

We tried, Grumpy and I, but couldn't get them on, So had to take off the backing and slap on something else.

Went across to see Felipe at the clinic, see if he could work it out.

No - they are the wrong bags for the backings

So I now have 30 bags and backings I can't use.

He's such a lovely lad, he gave me his emergency supply, so at least I have some.

And I've also got the e-mail address of where to complain to - and I'll be doing that in a minute.

Oh yes, you could make it up.

A manufacturer not knowing which part A fits which part B does not surprise me in the least.

It is a good job the world has a few Felipes to help out.

It's not the manufacturer WM, it's the dozy woman in Faro.

Felipe has just spent the last hour here and we've written and sent off the complaint. Complaints are taken very very seriously here. And on Monday, I'm going to the clinic and writing in their complaints book too.

And a copy of my complaint is going to the British Embassy over here.

But what I didn't know, is that I can also say thank you in the book, so Felipe's name and the name of the lovely receptionist, who is always so helpful, will both be in it.

A catchphrase from an old radio programme came into my mind when I read this.

"Some mothers do have 'em."

Remember?

We are having an ongoing issue with the hatch to our terrace, too flipping long to go into, but the bottom line is that the representative here in Ireland of the English company who supplied it is worse than useless. Our builder says he has a pea for a brain and wonders how he even manages his life, so terrible has he been. When we get the missing part (delivered to young builder's home address instead of here and nobody home, told it was wrong address, actually delivered again to the same wrong address, someone home this time, and is the wrong part   ). Their rep obviously hasn't got a bloody clue about the very expensive hatch which has been sold to us, and quite clearly is fairly clueless about part A and part B
