It must be wine o'clock somewhere

Postby debih » 31 Mar 2015, 16:39

I'm not sure which has been the worst part of my day today.

Getting up this morning to find that we have a mouse (or worse) in the pantry

Or

Finding out that the problem with my car isn't the balance of the wheels but probably the drive shaft

Or

Driving home to find that a tree has been brought down in the wind so the lane was closed and having to trudge all the way round to get home.

Or

Getting home to find that the dog poo smell wasn't because someone had walked in the stuff but because the dog had exploded on my best rug (the girls forgot to close the door this morning).

Hello glass of red. I'm very glad to see you.

I'd probably be looking for a straw to drink right out the bottle - skipping the middle person (ie the glass)

Heck what a day

Much better Jo.

I finished work earlier than expected, took Millie for a walk and then came home and pottered in the polytunnel.

The girls are at mums and Mick is in Liverpool so I'm home alone tonight - I'm catching up on stuff I've recorded whilst doing my new cross stitch. Then I intend on having a bath and sorting out some dinner.

Really pleased to hear that! What's the cross stitch that you're doing? I always used to have one on the go before the kids came along. In fact I think there's an unfinished one somewhere which I started just before Tom was born
