Good morning. :D

A gorgeous sunrise heralding a lovely day. :D  8-)

A coffee, a run, a visit to the bank then home to make 80 odd mini cupcakes. :D :D :D

Work 4-9 which is all games again as we break up for Semana Santa today - cue giddy excitement from us all. :D

Meeting Don in town for our customary Thursday beverage and bite to eat. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning world. We have woken to snow. Not much - around an inch and it is thawing fast.

No real plans for me today - I have to take the car to the garage for them to look at the tracking as it is juddering when I get to 45 mph and stops again at 55mph.

Off to see mum later and take her dirty birds back. She's been at my cousins for a few days so we've had the canaries - messy things.

Out to a friends later to look at her new flat.

Morning both :)

Wow Ally, that's a lot of cakey :D 8-)  Yummy :)

Hope you get your car fixed Debih, and it's nothing too expensive!

I have a GP appointment for 11, just in case I do need antibiotics for this lurgy - I have to be on that plane on Sunday ;) Other than that, I have ironing to do and need to do my hair colour later :)

Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all

Gosh Ally, who are all those cupcakes for - hope you're sending some this way
Good luck with the car Debih, hopefully it is just a tracking issue that can be easily fixed. Are you going to a tyre place or 'proper' mechanic? A friend of mine who also lives up north somewhere posted pictures of her garden covered in snow this morning :o but nice.
Good luck with the doctor Kaz, hopefully he can give you something to help you get better quicker; no fun flying when you're not feeling 100%

Usual work day for me and then home tonight to clean and sort out the lounge, one of my nieces is coming to stay the night. I do indeed hope it is one night only and not 14 which is how long she's in the UK for apparently! She can be quite hard work and I need some holiday time to myself.

Have a lovely day everyone, vibes to the poorlies - are there any updates on them?

xxxx

Morning all, it's quite bright here after a lot of rain overnight. Hope it stays dry for the day as our outside woodwork is being painted. We are going out shortly to collect our Roman blinds, hurray! We are getting them cost price so Mr Osc will have to instal them, no more running into the bathroom to get undressed/dressed  We are also collecting a clothes line from Argos, the sort of one you can attach to a wall, which should work well on the terrace. That's our day! Hope Di and Kaz are feeling a little bit better. Have a good day everyone :)

Wet and miserable here :(

Not sure what we're doing yet, did intend to do our weekly trip to M&S and Tesco, guess it's wait and see if the rain eases off.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon :)
Well, after feeling quite a bit better yesterday afternoon and evening, and had a lovely piece of fish, it then went backwards again
And the damned cold was drip-drip-drippping all night
Very fed up with it now :(

On the plus side, the sun's out :)
And the freezer's nearly empty!

Kaz vibe power will get you on that plane ;) :)
xx

Oh Di!! :? Did you have your sample investigated? This is going on too long for a bug - Jen had similar a couple of years ago and she put a sample in, turns out she had campylobacter and her poorliness lasted about a week until it had gone right through her system :( Best of luck and take it easy xxx

Complete contrast weather wise today - rainy and windy - so we got ready and went to Alnwick for a little mooch. Oooo I saw some lovely bedside cabinets and chest of drawers for our bedroom - much resisting needed!! Bought a wine cooler instead  Rain eased off so we went for a walk along the beach earlier....we're out for a 'last supper' tonight....so sad as this has been the best holiday ever :D :D :D We WILL be back!!! :D 8-)
