Thanks for those who sent me messages for yesterday. I have developed a nasty cold so as per usual my good intentions were a waste of time.

Had a difficult night, Gus called me at 2a.m. She was in agony and could not move her legs. I dressed and drove to her house, she was unable to move or get downstairs to open the door so I had to call my darling home help who dressed and came down to us with her other key...Gus was in agony however the pain eased, earlier she had taken one of her cats who was ill to the vets at 11p.m. He died two hours ago, she is in grief she has had him for nineteen years. What a night!! It is not like her to complain, I was worried but she refused to allow me to call a doctor. I will monitor her today, she is in bed by all accounts trying to get some sleep. Seems she could be low in Pottasium? What a night. And to add to my worries the Mercedes garage failed my Smart-cars MOT and informs me it is going to cost me over £700 for it to be passed. The amount does not make sense it had a new engine installed in it twelve months ago passed its MOT following which it was off the road due to key
Problems synonymous with Smart Cars . £285 to insure the damned car plus tax and laying out £120 to get it to the garage on a low loader. Where will it all end?

Deary me, Kate.
You are not having the best of times. I will send loads of good luck and healing vibes to both you and Gus.
My neighbour has a SMART car and it also costs her a fortune to get work done because not many places will touch it. Having said that she loves it and will not get rid, not for all the tea in China.

Thanks Frank and everyone for the kind thoughts. I gave this Smart to my elder daughter around five years ago.she spent a fortune it needed a new engine etc.i have another Smartcar almost ruined by the dog. I love them, however My insurance is low on my car, on the one Karen returned it is phenomenal and also the tax. I must have been mad to put the damned thing into the garage it is twelve years old, I would not get the overall cost of the damned thing if I scrapped it.

So do I dear, I have cancelled my doctors appointment this afternoon and have given it to Gusty.
I have to go and meet the boss of Mercedes Hereford at 1.a.m. I am in disbelief that he can charge such a price. The vehicle is not worth that much!!! They have had it for over a month the excuse being they could not get the key befor last week that they ordered. I know it needed a new battery and back tyre. But over £700 plus dMned insurance and tax.. Overdraft in view. Grrrrr
