A few vibes please....Update.

Postby Osc » 17 Mar 2015, 20:37

Poor Michael fell off his bike today and has broken his arm quite badly just at the elbow :o   We were out and when I got home, there were two missed calls on the house phone and one on Mr Osc's mobile (he had actually forgotten to bring it with him, which is unheard of), then she remembered that we were going dancing. I think she stayed at home with Kellie while SIL brought Michael to hospital, they just arrived home while she was on the phone to me. She will ring later to let me know how we can help tomorrow.

Poor lad, but an injury not unheard of with us lads and bikes. What are we like?  Hopefully he will mend and only have it as a memory.

Apparently it is quite badly damaged and if it doesn't heal well, there could be problems with it growing :( He has to be in the hospital, fasting, at 7.30am, with the result that he cannot have any pain relief after midnight. Thing is, they say he won't be operated on until quite late tomorrow, so what is the point having him fasting for so long   The child minder will be there with Kellie until 2pm tomorrow and then we will take over and stay in the house until one or both of them gets home, Michael might be kept in overnight.

Berlimey - why can't they do it earlier? Is it because of any swelling?

Sending loads of vibes to you all xx
