hello lovely people....

Postby pollR78 » 09 Mar 2015, 18:59

hi all

So sorry I have not been around much lately, not been feeling too great over the last few months but thankfully my medication is working thanks to my great GP and am feeling much better :)

Hope you are all well, whats been happening?

I was lucky to receive a cheque for a PPI which I tried to get years ago, not much but over £1000 so between that and sorting my finances at the bank, things are finally looking up!

A few changes happening at home..............bought laminate flooring so waiting for the joiner to come and fit, upgraded to a huge tv - well 40" compared to my old 23" lol! Amy got a new bed (2nd hand) last week, a high sleeper with desk and single futon underneath and is loving it!

and the BEST NEWS.............my facebook friends will know this.........we are getting a dog, well a wee puppy, a Yorkshire Terrier and he is going to be called Murphy, get him on 1st April, he will be 11 weeks - waiting until then as I am off for 2.5wks to settle him in, have a dog walker coming in daily :D :D we are SO excited, visited him again yesterday - will post pics soon on other board.

Hope you are all good, off to have tea, toad in the hole, Amy loves it!

Welcome back Amy.

I too have had a refund for PPI mis-selling. I did not apply, just got a letter from a firm in London saying how much I was entitled to. Only had to sig a form and the cheque came back in a few days. It was enough to pay for part of another cruise.

When I was young we used to have a dog. We lived in the country. My father used to take it with him to work as he was a forester.

Welcome back, Poll.

I like your good news. I'm sure you will enjoy you new puppy.
There are quite a few knowledgeable folk here on Vocal Voices
when it comes to dogs, so don't hesitate to ask if you have any
problems with you new puppy.
