Vocal Voices

I knew of a kitchen place in Olhao, so we went there, just to ask about getting a matching work-top (unlikely - our house is 15 years old) and possibly see the prices of hobs and ovens.

We ended up with a black worktop, just the right size, the housing and all the bits and bobs, for 28 euros So a huge thank you to Rosa, who was brilliant and understood exactly why we didn't buy her very nice, but very expensive hobs and ovens. We got 10% discount on everything except the work-top, which she gave us free

Then onto one of my favourite shops, as they've been very good to us (and we have spent a lot of money there over the years, but that's another story )

Hob and oven ordered and will be delivered Monday or Tuesday. She up-graded me on the oven and I have a sneaky feeling I'll be getting a lovely hob too All for 400 euros. (it's normal over here, if you're buying stuff like that to have a microwve or something thrown in, as a thank you)

So Grumpy is happy, only having to spend just over 400 euros and I'm a really really really happy cookerer.
