Well we have got the snow now---at 7am it was clear but now it is coming down heavily :D
Any minute now the kids (and mums and dads) will be slipping and sliding up and down
the steep hill at the side of our bungalow :D
It does`nt bother us but the man on the other side will be phoning the police and the
council to complain
Happy Birthday to my daughter who should have been in Moscow to celebrate her birthday :(
Have a good day everyone and stay warm :D

Good morning friends.

It's just starting to snow here and the sky looks full of it.

The pavements are now so treacherous that we have started going dog-walking in pairs,
to hold each other up.

Have a nice day.

Morning everyone

Grey and greyer here  but the wind has gone, just need to clear up the gardens now  Lots of leaves, twigs and flowers all over the place

Don't think we're going to have a lot of sun for the next week, but at least it's warm :D

Roast chicken in the electric oven later, should be fun, not used a lecky oven for over 7 years - might be that we'll be eating that first and the veggies later

Stay warm and safe over there xxx

Morning everyone :) No more snow here overnight, but what was there before is still around...................Just spoken to my MIL and she's fed up with being stuck indoors, but it's too slippy out underfoot for her and the side roads still too icy for her to feel happy driving her car! I've told her I will walk up tomorrow and see her - she has plenty of food in, but is just bored I think.....

Making the usual roast here, otherwise not doing much. Take care everyone and enjoy your day, if you can xxxxxx

Morning all :D

More snow here. It's not heavy but enough to settle and cover the little patches people had cleared yesterday. Mr.J has just gone off to get the papers and hopefully some fresh veg as we're now completely out. Our nearest shop is a small Co-op and they don't carry much in that line, I never buy frozen veg so we could be eating baked beans for Sunday dinner lol

Nothing planned, did loads of washing yesterday and started sorting the holibob clothes so now have some ironing to do. Hmmm not my favourite job and there's still 2 weeks to go.........think it can wait

Hope you all stay safe and have a good day :D
