It looks gloomy here but then it is pretty early. A few bits to do around the house, washing etc, then out for my walk. Mick is working, B is at uni. That's about it so far......

Morning all, it's a gloomy one here too. I was planning on going to the gym but still feel stuffed from last night so an early and long walk with Billy is in order I think! There's a load of washing just gone out on the line and when we get back from the walk there's a load of towels ready to be washed.

Joe's got another science mock today. Poor kid, he's absolutely full of cold yet again, his third in under 2 months. Ideally I would've kept him off but obviously he's got the exam and he's had time off with the last two colds so he can't really stand to have more absences

Get him some vit C and zinc Jo, it really does work to stave off colds. Bit late for this time but for the future.............I used to get cold after cold in the winter, not had one for years! I've had flu a couple of times in the last five years, but then that's entirely different

Got home yesterday morning about 10. a.m Went to bed for a few hours. Have unpacked and sorted the post and some emails.
Well done vvic, I have managed to get on first a few times.
Dull here but no rain yet.
Am going to a meeting in Preston this morning and dancing this evening.

a bit dull this morning here as well, but hey - in the office all day so it makes very little difference to me thankfully.

Jo - agree with Kaz re the Vit C and zinc; definitely worth getting some of those. Also maybe Vit B to keep his energy levels up - may help a bit during the exam time?

Dull, grey, wet and windy here this morning - well, it was forecast

A day for staying in and trying to keep warm - we're running out of wood and Grumpy won't buy any more

So, as there is no walk this morning, I've told him he's got to walk up and down stairs every half hour

Morning all. I'm exhausted - I hardly slept last night because of my elbow. I have diagnosed myself with tennis elbow which I think is caused by holding my ipad in my left hand. I am due to see the doctor on Friday about my thyroid results so I shall ask him if it is tennis elbow.

I'm at work this morning until around 12.30 and then going for a run (I really do say that very, very loosely), going home for lunch, walking Millie and then locking the doors. I'm going to be home alone (if you don't count Millie) as Mick is away and the girls are staying at mums - they are on half term. (I dropped them off yesterday, pick them up tomorrow - unless she rings saying she's had enough of them, which I doubt).

I intend on having soak in the bath and watching lashings of tv. I'd like to knit too if my elbow allows it.

Back on track diet wise - just finishing off my porridge.
