Dinner tonight

Postby tonicha » 24 Jan 2015, 19:48

has been cancelled.

I really can't do lunch and dinner, so Grumpy didn't eat lunch, as per usual, I did, to be, well, nice.

And tonight, instead of chicken curry, onion bhajis, flats breads and other scrummy stuff, he had a cheese and onion omlette butty.

I'm having wine

Mushroom omelet and beans, but that was about 4 pm. I might have a sandwich later.

Honestly, how people eat lunch is beyond me.

It's not a huge meal, half a small chicken, a handful of chips, rice and we didn't have the salad

I'm still not hungry.

Ask me at 2.00 in the mornimg now....................

We've just got back from our friends. 14 of us.

Canapés, Haggis, mashed potatoes, mashed swede and carrots, peas, sausages, onion gravy, 3 desserts (didn't have any so don't know what the choice was), cheese board, sparkly wine, red wine, whisky, port, sherry, coffee, mints.

I'm stuffed.

Diet went out the window tonight.
