Boy and cars.

I heard it coming through the slush and when it stopped at the T junction its wheels were pointing to the right. He made sure it was clear, did the lad, then it was max throttle for a wheel spin getaway. Unfortunately the wheels suddenly bit and the tail end whipped round and gave the kerb a right clunk!

As he, slowly, drove away you could hear from the grunch, grunch, grunch that something wasn't quite right.

Daddy will not be pleased. :o :o

Oh dear!
Tom's going to be having driving lessons for his 18th birthday next month. John's just glad that he has a company car and therefore has the excuse that it's not insured for under 25s

And on the sunbject of boys and cars, Joe's been off sick today. He got up, dragged his duvet down to the sofa and watched his Need For Speed DVD and then found some Top Gear episodes to watch on Netflix. That was at around 12.30pm. It's now gone 9.30pm and Top Gear is still bloody on, and John's watching it with him now too

It was the same in our household Jo, when I was younger.

In our house that's when John's eyes glaze over - when the football's on. He's got no interest in it. It's a good thing that Joe's got me to take him to matches  Me and Joe sit there talking about it and you can see John zoning out

definitely one of the advantages of living on my own - the telly is mine - ALL MINE!!!!

Would love to be a fly on the wall in the house where that boy lives Frank - hopefully he's learned a very valuable lesson. We have quite a few young drivers on the roads where I live and with some you can really see and understand why their insurance premiums are so high. I had one behind me on Monday, major traffic jam and he was right up my a*se and talking on his mobile. So I did the only thing I could do (besides glare at him) and keep a huge big distance to the car in front of me....

Ria the roads round here are laid out like a grid. They are flat and everyone has a driveway, so hardly any on street parking. Last night was typical boy behaviour. I guess most lads have gone through the handbrake turn/squealing tyres phase when there is snow or a quiet car park. He will probably get away with a new wheel and tyre and a clip round his ear from mum. :D :D :D
