What a result!

I finished work today until 2nd Feb. the week was earmarked for decorating S's bedroom. It was the first room we renovated 21 years ago although it has been repainted a couple of times since then.

Tonght Mick announced that he wants to give it a complete overhaul - rip out the old fitted wardrobes, rip out the shelves in one of the chimney breasts, put two free standing wardrobes in, replaster a part of the ceiling that needs doing, fit a new radiator, possibly fit shutters (she has 3 windows in her room, all single glazed which will cost a fortune to double glaze due to conservation restrictions) and re carpet.

Which means I won't be decorating next week.

Which means I have a week off with no plans.

Result!

I have got a big lump hammer you can borrow. Soon get rid of the fitted wardrobes and shelves.
But what is S going to do with all her belongings while this refurbishment is going on?

We've got to get a new bedroom suite and bed for our room, we're really struggling for storage, and John reckons it'll take us a day if we work together on the flatpacks :?
