Morning everyone

Gorgeous outside, I do love waking up to bright blue sky - and it is sooooo quiet here this morning 8-)

We may go for a walk down to the beach, but most cafes and all shops will be shut, so may just stay here and pootle.

Happy New Year to everyone xx

Ouch, Saundra - hope it clears up soon xx

Morning all, I'm pleased to say that there is a noticeable improvement in my condition :D :D who would have thought that the anti-bs would have a positive effect so quickly. Still a way to go but I actually feel rather human and feel the need to do some ironing ( :o maybe those anti-bs need a little tweaking  ). Michael is arriving later for a sleepover, it will be fun having him here, maybe we will bring him to the local park on his bike, the weather is very changeable but the rain seems to be easing off. Wishing everyone a happy, healthy and peaceful 2015, you are a wonderful group of friends xxxxx

Morning all. Glad you're feeling better Osc. I feel your pain Saundra.

Surprisingly I am hangover free (surprising as I partook of copious amounts of sparkling wine, red wine, whisky, port and Baileys. I think the huge meal (pate, roast lamb and trimmings, baked cheesecake, cheese and biscuits) soaked it up. I've just finished clearing up - not too bad as it was just glasses, coffee stuff and cheese stuff as the rest had gone in the dishwasher last night.

Off to mums for another enormous meal - I feel like I haven't stopped eating this xmas - shortly then home later to chill.

Happy 2015 everyone.

Morning all :)
Really glad to hear you're feeling a bit better Osc (((x)))

Hangover-free here as I went to bed early, just couldn't make it :? :o :)
Calendar-free too, we've often had a little desk-top one from the boys but will go to Waterstones tomorrow, they'll be half price ;)
One for the fridge door can wait till Saturday and the market.
Nothing going on here, it's not a very nice day, dark and damp and very windy.
Nice plain food for us - the last of the hm soup for lunch and a mixed veg bubble & squeak bake for dinner :D
Hope you all have a good day

Happy New Year everyone :)

Well Amy managed to stay up until just before 1am, she kept saying she wanted to stay up all night :P I had one spritzer and one can of sweetheart stout (my fav) so no hangover here, although we slept until just before noon.

A lazy pj day planned here watching tv/films.....followed by a steak pie for tea (tradition in Scotland to have a steak pie on NY Day) and a lovely strawberry trifle :) :)

Hope everyone has a lovely day and all the very best for 2015.

Happy New Year everyone! :D

We had a lovely quiet evening at home just the two of us - Jen was working from 7pm till close, T and I watched a film by candle-light but we were really too tired to stay up till midnight...well, he'd been up since 5am and I haven't been sleeping too well lately and was shattered, so after a quick Skype with the little ones we headed up.

Today we have been out for a lovely lunch with my sister and BIL, my cousin and her H and their grown up son, his wife and daughter. Soooooo full!! Called back to my sister's after to open our presents, as it's the first time we've seen them since Dec 21st.....the lads got watching the match and us girls got interested in a 1000 piece jigsaw sis is on with :)

Home now, in our comfy clothes watching Bond and eating sweets 8-)

Debih I feel the same, as though we have done nothing else but eat for the past 10 days! We have loads of chocs and sweets to get through though still...... :)
