International Space Station ..
Posted: 24 Dec 2014, 17:35.. so there we were, Mrs O and the Bird himself, out in the garden at 17:22, because they'd been announcing on the radio all afternoon that the ISS would be transiting our skies and would be clearly visible.
So we waited with bated breath.
And then suddenly, dead on time, from over the rooftops, a huge white object shot across our skies from left to right. "Woah, look at that!", I exclaimed, " err ..... hang on, are those wings?"
Tawny owl ....
(and yes, we did see the ISS, a white dot moving across the sky, about a minute later ......
