Two good happenings

Postby tonicha » 17 Jan 2013, 13:55

First one, I checked our bank in the hope that the pension money had gone in, even though the very nice lady said it would be Friday at the earliest - and it was there :D

Just had a phone call from the hospital to say that they are going to remove that lump on the inside of my eye-lid on 28 January :D

Not looking forward to that bit, but I am, in a strange kinda way

So we've been shopping :) stocked up on beer, wine and brandy for Grumpy and food stuff for me.

I'm now going to make butternut squash soup, spinach soup, a large chilli and a large shepherds pie and a vast pork stew. The stew will be for the week-end, the rest for the now empty freezer :) Amazing how much space al lthat ice took up

Thank you all xxxxxx

Oddly, I feel quite happy about the op (the 3rd in a year :o ) as I really really want this one sorted out pronto. When I saw the rather gorgeous Dr Cesear, he said it might be as long as March, so I'm doubly happy.

No, our Fudgie, not a chance - your lot won last night, make that do

And we've decided to go to the Alentejo for a few days next month too :D :D :D :D Now that is really something to look forward to :D
