My damned foot and thumb.

I have been to see the doctor as advised by A&E. Her tells me that if the thumb is not working in the next two weeks he will send me back for more x-rays. He says that breaks to the trapezium and scaphoid are hard to detect: wonderful!

He also says that my still very swollen foot could be more down to damage to the medial ligaments rather than the broken bones and that if that is the case it could be February before I get much improvement.

In other things: the woman who did all this to me now says that it was not her fault. She has obviously been got at by the legal eagles of her insurance despite me having two witnesses and photo evidence.

Hey, I can do without all this.

That all sounds like a bit of a b*gger WM. No surprise re the motorist. She'll probably try to say that you were speeding. If she's pulled out on you without looking, which I'm thinking she did, she probably won't get much mileage out of that defence.
I hope your aches and pains ease as quick as they can.

Cromwell, she indicated and moved all in one action. She said that she looked in her mirror, but not over her shoulder to her blind-spot, which is where I was! It was a typical SMIDSY - Sorry Mate I Didn't See You.

Kaz the   are not enough. I was actually worried about the state she was in. How wrong was I?

Rest, and that is doing my head in - I think it is known as 'Cabin fever'.

Jo, I have spoken to my witnesses and they are still up for it.

Frank - I am disappointed that you are not healing up quicker.
Let's hope the medics can speed things up for you.

I shouldn't worry too much over the motorist's change in her account of how the accident happened,
as it seems you can easily prove otherwise.
